The only time the staff needs to enter a dollar amount for a credit card sale is when the tender is being split among multiple payment methods. The amount entered is the amount charged.

  The system verifies the credit type based on the card number. The staff can't charge a Visa card with a Master Card.


• Lower your cost to accept credit cards
  The system passes the encrypted swiped credit card information to the processor. Processors usually offer the best rates when a credit card is present and is swiped.


• Security
  The best credit card security measures are of no value if you store and print credit card information. The system never stores or prints a credit card number and the customer receipt only prints the last 4 digits of the credit card number. If the information isn't available, it can't be stolen.
